Autumn Has Definitely Arrived

Well the days are now so much shorter and cooler I'm guessing that the Indian summer we were expecting in September isn't coming after all. My log fire in the front room has been lit 3 times over the last 2 weeks, it makes it feel so nice and cosy that all I want to do it knit.

I have added a new range of Fingerless gloves for the fall and winter, I wear these a lot so thought they would be a great addition to our collection.

These are knit in a beautiful mix of Merino wool and Alpaca. This is a really soft and warm yarn. You can check out the listing here:

I have many different styles in both wool and acrylic.

These are knit in a beautiful British chunky pure wool. I love bright colours.  You can check out the listing here:

These are knit in a self patterning acrylic yarn with a cable design. Cabled Fingerless Gloves

More designs will be added over the next week, just got to go and light the fire again and start knitting!

Thought for the day - which is just what I think about my fire.

“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.”
